We had a brilliant time guiding Simon and Celia on Monday, straying just into Hampshire for the Sabine's Gull and enjoying some quality woodland birding near Chichester. Memorable encounters that were too brief or distant for photographs included four Black-necked Grebes, two Long-tailed Ducks and a scattering of Goldeneye and Red-breasted Mergansers in Langstone Harbour.
