Gatwick Express to Birding Extravaganza!
The best way to take a birding trip in London is with a Wildstarts London Gatwick Birding Big Day. Why? Getting yourself to our Gatwick meeting point minimises tour time spent in traffic, saves you money and puts you in prime position for wetland, woodland and coastal birding hotspots in the wider region.
This tour comes in the form of a standard day or an extended hours option. Once you jump in with Wildstarts, our Big Day has the flexibility to visit hotspots in Sussex, Kent, Surrey or Hampshire.
The Gatwick Express connects London Victoria to Gatwick Airport in just over 30 minutes. This service runs twice every hour between approxmately 05:00 to 23:00.
Southern and Thameslink services also serve Gatwick from Victoria and other London stations such as London Bridge, London Blackfriars, and St Pancras International. These trains run day night, so you can reach Wildstarts for early morning birding tours!
