On the rocks

It's not all green leafy forests and tranquil marshes, sometimes rocks and concrete are where the good birding is at. These two memorable birds from our two-day tour with Lynn from North Carolina this week came from the sea defences at Splash Point.

This inquisitive juvenile European Shag was a rare treat for our tours, especially in the summer.
